Wow and flutter--that's what you get here. "Wow" as an exclamation over the delightful electronic tweaking performed by Thomas Thorn and Walker (also half of Air Liquide, among dozens of other aliases); "flutter" as in what your mind does when exposed to such incongruous sounds.
Over shifting echoes of queasy electronics and dirty beat boxes, Thorn and Walker probe a primitive electronic landscape where the structures of the sounds are at least as important as the tableau they're arranged in. This is serious mind-messing music, full of beats that sound as if they've been etched out of beds of charcoal and sent spinning into toxic atmospheres of sulfuric synth washes. A hugely entertaining romp through the bowels of incendiary electronics.
