In keeping with the unified, inclusive spirit of the phenomenally successful Warped Tour, its companion disc includes tracks from all the stages and every band, big and small. So while heavyweights like NOFX and Mighty Mighty Bosstones turn in tracks, there are also great songs from up-and-comers like Tsunami Bomb ("Not Forever"), Midtown ("Become What You Hate"), and Madcap ("These Old Feelings"). Also in keeping with the skateboard nation's embrace of poppy punk revivalism, modern-day hardcore, and ska-inflected amalgams of both, the 50 tracks here travel liberally between genres, juxtaposing melodious, pogoing numbers with gruff, working class anthems. On the whole, the set is a fabulous document of a summer tour that's come to define, support, and encourage an entire movement of music, youth, and commerce.
