After the international success of Chaco, Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas did a logical step and recorded in march 1996 its own MTV Unplugged. All the hits from that album are acoustically reworked here, like "Abarajame," "Jaguar House," and "Chaco." Although most of the material belongs to that album, there's also a couple of songs from the sophomore Horno para Calentar Mares and two new songs that were recorded in studio: "Lo Primal del Viento" (which is among the band's finest works ever) and "Ninja Mental." This is not their best effort, but shows the band at its artistically and popularity peak. The duo was having fun at that time and that's well shown in that album. Enjoyable, though not earth shattering.
