Decada de Rock is a fitfully entertaining overview of Spanish-language rock in the '80s and '90s. Although it is missing some major acts, it still functions as a nice sampler for those curious about contemporary Spanish-language pop-rock. However, this should not be thought of as a sampler of rock en Espanol, which is a more challenging, ambitious and rewarding genre.
