UMMC's 2003 release Ultimate Legends is a budget-line release of recordings Domino made at ABC Paramount during the '60s, after he left Imperial. This means this contains re-recordings of such big hits as "Blueberry Hill," which will certainly be a disappointment for those looking for an affordable collection of Fats' original hit singles. But these are enjoyable recordings, both the re-recordings and ABC/Paramount sides like "Lazy Lady," "Wigs," and Chuck Berry's "Reelin' and Rockin'." As long as you know what you're getting into when you pick up this cheap collection, this is an enjoyable budget-line release.
