AllMusic Review by

Arista's Ultimate Party series is thoroughly entertaining, and Ultimate Country Party is no exception to the rule. The single-disc collection contains 18 contemporary country hits from the '80s, including Alan Jackson's "Chattahoochee," Vince Gill's "One More Last Chance," Shania Twain's "Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under," Brooks & Dunn's "Boot Scootin' Boogie," George Strait's "She Lays It All on the Line," Lorrie Morgan's "What Part of No," BR5-49's "Cherokee Boogie," the Tractors' "Baby Likes to Rock It," and Lee Roy Parnell's "If the House Is Rockin'," among others. It's not meant as a definitive collection, but it's certainly a fun romp through some of the most popular country tunes of the '90s.
