Released in the '80s as an LP, this obscure sound art document was reissued by Ampersand on CD in 2001. Both the artist work in sound installation art, and the effect of making a recording may only be one dimension of the pieces they make. As experimental music, this LP is rich with texture and dynamics that make for a stunning listen, its details are intricate resonation and transformations of the sound sculptures in the environment. Where many sound art recordings are partial documents of multimedia events and struggle to stand alone as audio, Two & Two is a work that can be listened to as a composition of fine avant-garde music.
