It's a shame that a band this good is consistently ignored by the masses. "Twisted and Bent" comes from the A Happy Pocket LP and is just as brilliant as ever. The remaining three tracks are previously unreleased, except for appearing on an almost impossible-to-find disc called Five Hungry Joes. Even on their faster songs, there's something very mellow about this music. "Mr. Grisly," sung by drummer Stephen Douglas, and "No Gasoline" are just as good as any album tracks. Something about "Aberration," sung by guitarist David Hughes, is similar to "Iceberg" and "One at a Time" from the I've Seen Everything LP, and it isn't a flattering similarity. All three of these songs seem to be relentless, never pausing to explore, simply latching onto the established rhythm and repeating it.
