This duo's music stands out as some of the angriest, raspiest, most disturbing sounds in this burgeoning genre we call Esotronic, and I love it! The group's name perfectly describes their music: modern technology with a primal edge. "Planetary Sacrifice" introduces their sound at full throttle, with local synth hero Lon Cudy guesting on lead guitar. "Waiting" is slow, dark and ominous, with Vasey intoning doomsday lyrics through a vocorder. "Trance Ends" (pun intended) tears through its' sequences relentlessly while "Earth Pulse" pounds away like a freight train through a major city's industrial section. Even the more relaxed pieces have jagged edges in the voices. They use a mixture of analog and digital synthesis (just try to tell the difference here) and some of the weirdest samples ever committed to chip.
