With the closing of the legendary Tresor nightclub, Berlin and the international techno community lost yet another in a long list of clubs that were arteries in the development and evolution of electronic music. As a memorial to the club, this expansive compilation covers the gamut of performers who have graced the label and club over the past decade. Featuring such luminaries as Stewart Walker, Alan Oldham, Jay Denham, and Joey Beltram, this has something for every techno fan, whether preferring the sound melodic and dramatic, hard and minimal, or funky and pulsing. The duration of the set may prove to be exhaustive listen for some, but those who turn on and dig in for the long haul, this won't fail to disappoint. And the name of the compilation is fitting, as the label is currently looking for a new location to resurrect its club.
