A nifty R&B romp produced by the team of Ray Reid and William Anderson (of Crown Heights Affair fame), this was Gonzalez's only record to cross over to Billboard's R&B Singles Chart, reaching number 76 with the aid of a 7" release. There isn't any new ground broken in either the song itself or the production; but the melody is cleverly catchy and the arrangement thoroughly danceable. Vocally, Gonzalez's performance makes it an all the more festive affair. A slightly remixed version of the track appears on Unidisc's Star Funk, Vol. 35 CD, but this original 12" (which misspells her name as "Gonzales") is the most desirable.
