Led by Scottish fiddler Aly Bain and American dobro player Jerry Douglas, these live sessions, which began in 1995, have featured luminaries like Béla Fleck, Rosanne Cash, John Martyn, and many more. Recorded and filmed in various picturesque locales in Scotland, the chosen performers often collaborate with each other and are backed by Bain, Douglas and their veteran house band. This introductory collection features 12 highlights from various sessions in the program's history, with guest performers like James Taylor, Sam Bush, Alison Krauss, Mary Chapin Carpenter, and many more.
