DJ X-Dream's first mix album appearance, Trance Theory, is a rather standard trance mix by the New York-based DJ perhaps known best for his affiliation with the Caffeine collective. Some of the more noteworthy producers featured on the mix include Futureshock, DJ Tiësto, and Ferry Corsten. Yet even these big names don't do much for this mix, which is short on highlights. A second volume followed shortly after in 2002.
