AllMusic Review by

Both a tribute to the so-called "supersessions" of the 1960s and a hugely enjoyable romp in its own right, this collaboration between indie rock singer-songwriters Bill Callahan and Edith Frost, guitarists Neil Hagerty and Antietam's Tara Key, and musical polymath Jim O'Rourke, has a surprisingly consolidated sound. Rockers such as the tongue-twisting "The Girl on the Billboard" and the mysterious "Zero Degrees" rub shoulders with more sensitive pieces, such as Frost's introspective "Old Man," while Key and Hagerty's playing is a model of musical integration.
