A totally fun and hip Christian pop/rock set from an established artist on the Organic Records label. Fans who enjoy Crystal Lewis, Amy Grant, and Julie de Azevedo will find a lot to enjoy on this album. The lyrics are contemporary without being too worldly, and there are many outright references to faith. Varnadeau has a voice perfectly geared for rock -- Karen Carpenter she is definitely not. Her voice has an edge and a style that's playful enough to remind listeners of David Byrne's tongue-in-cheek singing. This one is worth buying, especially for rock fans.
