Caz stays true to the norms of California gangsta rap, rapping about his hard stance and his material luxuries, but manages to integrate a cool sense of laid-back G-funk that makes his tracks more tolerable than generic West Coast gangsta rap. On songs such as "Flossing," he takes a step away from hardcore rap to chill out for a bit; it is during moments such as these that Caz is at his strongest. If anything, though, Caz needs a stronger supporting cast to make this album interesting. He's a charismatic rapper but only in the generic sense, so this album often gets dull as Caz far too often conforms to the clichéd conventions of West Coast gangsta rap.
