Taken from the bleak Freaks album, "They Suffocate At Night" was released as an edited single. It remains one of the best songs on Freaks, but it isn't one of the group's best singles, precisely because it is so dense and claustrophobic, it is best heard on the actual album. "Tunnel, " the B-side, is also a stab at experimental rock but, unlike the A-side, it's nearly unlistenable.
