AllMusic Review by

If you have been a loyal Brit-pop fanatic, the Shirehorses' The Worst Album in the World ... Ever ... EVER! will be a reasonably entertaining listen. The Shirehorses -- Radio 1 DJs Mark Radcliffe and former Fall member Marc Riley -- take the piss out of trad-rock, reworking band names (Kula Shaker becomes Peela Tater) and songs ("Tattva" becomes "Ta La"), while singing badly about silly, childishly vulgar things. It's the kind of thing which is mildly funny upon initial listening (or it's wildly funny if you're a drunken lager lout), but each subsequent listen is a bit tiresome. But, no matter which way you look at it, it's a damn interesting curio of the times.
