This is quite a diverse indie package. The Blue Whale cover several different areas of pop as a front of psychedelic indie is followed by minimal dance numbers and occasional hints of country twang. On top of the swapping male and female vocal positions, an apparent upbringing of Belle and Sebestain, Looper, and Beachwood Sparks are present throughout Wind Runs Through It. This could be easily mistaken for a compilation album if this was lacking cover art.
