AllMusic Review by

An intriguing and beautifully done combination of traditional Hindu song (wedding devotionals, for the most part, as the title would imply) with a range of traditional and contemporary instrumentation -- among Santurs, harmoniums, sitars there are the insistent pulse of drum machines and the deep throb and rumble of synthesizers and samplers. Jasvir Khushdilkheliyawala is one of those journeyman vocalists who does a lot of work across the range of Hindu music without ever being quite a standout; the main purpose of this album seems to have been to support the Hindu music market in Britain (it has made its way to U.S. stores as well, though, again, only to be found in specialty stores). Overall, the album is enjoyable to listen to, but ultimately fades quickly from the mind.
