Flutist Paul Fried is joined by a small band to play warm and sweet renditions of love songs on The Way We Were. The pure and natural sound of the flute is the perfect instrument for songs such as "The Way We Were," "Evergreen," and "All I Ask of You." Fried, whose background is in classical music, exhibits an extraordinary feel for the pop sound, turning popular pieces into masterpieces. Fried is supported by harp, guitar, bass and cello. He was the principle flutist for The Boston Pops and alternate principle flutist for The Boston Symphony.
