The third album from Nashville-based singer/songwriter Ben Rector, 2013's The Walking in Between features more of the independent artist's passionate, piano-driven pop. An independent artist from the start, Rector has stayed true to his grassroots approach and The Walking in Between is his first album for his own Aptly Named Recordings label. Produced by Rector along with Jamie Kenney (Marc Broussard, David Archuleta, Matt Hires) and Charlie Peacock (Amy Grant, Switchfoot, the Civil Wars), The Walking in Between follows his two other well-received albums, 2010's Into the Morning and 2011's Something Like This. Rector has always found a way to make the ordinary aspects of everyday life poignant, humorous, and beautiful, and The Walking in Between is no exception. Included is the single "Beautiful."
