AllMusic Review by

Before being known as Ricky Nelson's father, Ozzie Nelson was an enormously popular bandleader and vocalist playing light dance music with romantic or novelty themes. The Very Best of Ozzie Nelson, Vol. 2: 1934-1936 is a budget-priced, 25-track selection of such sentimental and downright silly tunes as "She's a Latin From Manhattan," "I'll Never Say 'Never Again' Again," "Is It True What They Say About Dixie?," and "You're Not the Only Oyster in the Stew." The future Mrs. Ozzie Nelson, Harriet Hilliard, is also heard singing on several tracks.
