The fourth of five LPs issued by Hindsight that feature rare airchecks of Jimmy Dorsey's orchestra showcases his band in its declining days. However, despite the three commercial vocals heard on this set, Dorsey's band in 1950 was potentially a strong jazz outfit, featuring Charlie Teagarden and Shorty Sherock on trumpets along with the leader's alto and clarinet. JD's workout on "Fingerbustin'" and the renditions of "Lover" and "King Porter Stomp" are highpoints of this swinging set.
