The Trinity, a four-track EP released near the end of 2013, was the first commercial release from the LOX since 2000. It's a modest, to-the-point release from Jadakiss, Styles P, and Sheek Louch, who are granted low-key features from vocalists -- namely Tyler Woods and Dyce Payne -- on the opening and closing cuts. "Love Me or Leave Me Alone" is the boldest track, a nod to Brand Nubian with that familiar Bobbi Humphrey sample. Otherwise, this sticks to the basics with direct, true-to-form rhymes with alternately hard-hitting and kicked-back productions. As a re-introduction, it serves its purpose, satisfying yet increasing anticipation for their planned full-length return.
