There has been no clamor for a Queens of the Stone Age string tribute among the stoners and frat boys who made these friends of Grohl stars. However, that didn't stop Vitamin from issuing this set, which features the singles "No One Knows" and "Go With the Flow" among a handful of other Queens reworkings. In addition to the violin, viola, and cello lineup common to most Vitamin tributes, this one features some guitar and "extra textures," the latter of which is probably responsible for the weird treated sound of "God Is on the Radio." Though it snuck up on them (as most things do), it is rumored that, upon this comp's release, burnouts nationwide raised their bongs in their own personal tributes to Queens of the Stone Age.
