AllMusic Review by

Although they didn't carry the hip cache, the Four Seasons were one of the most consistent hit making groups of the 1960s, rivaling the Beach Boys and the Beatles song for song for a time, most of them made memorable by Frankie Valli's soaring lead vocals, Bob Gaudio's songwriting concepts and Bob Crewe's Phil Spector-In-A-Box production. Everything one could possible want by the Four Seasons is here on this 22-track anthology from Time Life, including "Sherry," "Candy Girl," "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Walk Like a Man," "Dawn (Go Away)," and "Rag Doll."
