Many of these 15 songs haven't shown up on other garage-psych compilations, but there might be a reason for that. This is mostly unexceptional stuff by the standards of the genre: below-average songs by groups, probably very young, that added some very mild psychedelic influences into their basic fuzz-organ formulas. The Troyes' exuberant "Rainbow Chaser" is an exception (a little bit of melody works wonders). The Exotics get four songs; their organ-driven pop-punk isn't bad, but all of the tracks and more by the group are available on the Cicadelic compilation Dallas Psychedelic Gold from the '60s, if you need them in your collection.
