In July 2003, Percy Bady released his debut project, The Percy Bady Experience. The Grammy-nominated producer, who has also served as a musician, arranger, and songwriter on multiple projects, sees his solo album as an opportunity to communicate messages in his own way, rather than having to collaborate when producing the work of another artist. The release features ten songs all co-written by Bady, as well as guest artists such as BeBe Winans and Dawkins & Dawkins. Songs include "It Was Love," "Keep on Dreaming," and "You Oughta Been There." Additionally, the project contains accompaniment tracks for the songs "I'll Keep Holding On," "Gone But Not Forgotten," and "Um Good."
