Originating in the Netherlands, One and Only is probably better summed up by its subtitle, Greatest and Latest. Yes, it's re-recorded hits time, as the then-current (1997) incarnation of Showaddywaddy powered once more through an unimpeachable selection of past glories, and -- perhaps surprisingly -- really didn't make too much of a mess of it. Of course you can neither beat, nor mistake, the original recordings, but if you just want non-stop Showaddywaddy at a decent price, and aren't too picky about which version of "Dancing Party" is shaking the speakers, then One and Only is not a lost investment.
