Like its predecessor, Music of Christmas, Vol. 2 is an engaging, light, melodic and sweet collection of holiday music. Since he hit many of the best-known carols the first time around, this disc is devoted to relatively lesser-known songs, or at least songs that aren't performed quite as frequently. Even if it's lacking staples like "Silent Night" and "Deck the Halls, " it has "Hallelujah Chorus, " "Away in a Manger, " "We Three Kings of Orient Are, " "Angels We Have Heard on High, " "Carol of the Bells, " "I Saw Three Ships" and "What Child Is This, " which makes it a thoroughly enjoyable Christmas record.
