This fresh-faced Pittsburgh band has something more going for them than just boundless energy. They might profess the modest goal of simply spreading good vibes but the intricate harmonies and wistful piano heard on tracks like "Clouds" reveal something craftier at work. The unit is tight, but their secret weapon is pianist/singer Harrison Wargo, whose voice grazes falsetto country on the standout cut "Honest." Overall, the Morning Light successfully combine the pop-punk enthusiasm of A New Found Glory with the melodic and harmonic know-how of Maroon 5.
