It's difficult to make a connection between the music on The Millennium's Greatest Hits, Vol. 2 and the turning of the millennium, except that the compilation happened to be released around that time. Nevertheless, it's a pretty solid collection of oldies-radio staples that doesn't aim to draw a portrait of any specific kind of music, but rather to assemble a group of catchy, familiar songs in one place. Artists present include Fats Domino, Roy Orbison, the Marcels, the Shirelles, the Four Seasons, the Temptations, the Turtles, and Dionne Warwick, among others.
