Laserlight's MASTERS OF THE BLUES box set showcase some of the most inspired work from three seminal bluesmen. B.B. King's PAYING THE COST TO BE THE BOSS finds the guitarist playing live with the classic '60s lineup of his band, featuring the legendary Otis Spann on piano. They perform many of King's signature tunes, including the classics "The Thrill Is Gone" and "You've Done Your Last Good Thing Now," with typical fire. T-Bone Walker's live STORMY MONDAY finds the guitarist in high spirits, especially on his version of John Lee Hooker's "Shake It Baby." Muddy Waters' HOOCHIE COOCHIE MAN is a concise overview of his many classics, from the title track on down. As with most Laserlight box sets, the three CDs are also available individually.
