AllMusic Review by

This excellent concert by the Oscar Peterson Trio recorded in Ljubljana is over two hours long, starting off with a smoking version of "Reunion Blues" (misidentified as "Bag's Groove") followed by a pretty ballad from Peterson's Canadian Suite, "Wheatland" (misidentified as George Shearing's "Melody"). Ray Brown and Ed Thigpen play up to Peterson's usual high standards, complementing one another's playing. This two-CD set would have been rated higher if it possessed better sound quality and a correct list of the songs played, but even with these reservations, there are many fine songs on this date that aren't featured very often on other live releases by Peterson.
