In 1997, Christian rock and alternative band PFR announced it would be calling an end to the trio's musical partnership. To commemorate this parting, members Joel Hanson, Patrick Andrew, and Mark Nash released their album The Late Great PFR. The project features a total of 16 tracks, which includes three new recordings. Definite album highlights are the pop/rock, slightly acoustic "Forever" and the ever zany tribute to a former pet dog, "Goldie's Last Day."
