AllMusic Review by

Volume two of this fascinating series delves into the tunes Presley recorded and covered after being inducted into the military in 1958 and finishing with his last Top 15 hit in the 1970s, Chuck Berry's "Promised Land." Sequenced chronologically, the highlights include Ketty Lester's "Love Letters," Hank Snow's "A Fool Such As I," Lowell Fulson's "Reconsider Baby," Tommy Tucker's "High Heel Sneakers," Jack Greene's "There Goes My Everything," Jimmy Reed's "Big Boss Man" and Jerry Reed's "Guitar Man." Another fascinating collection that shows off both Presley's wide-ranging tastes and his ability to jump between styles with consummate ease.
