AllMusic Review by

Fats Domino's relaxed, gently swinging New Orleans boogie-woogie piano style, coupled with his easy demeanor and rich, resonant, and warmly joyful vocal approach, made him one of the most accessible and consistent performers of rock & roll's early years. This generous four-disc, 124-track set collects the singles he released with Imperial Records between 1950 and 1962, which means one gets "Blueberry Hill," "Walking to New Orleans," and dozens of other Domino classics from his peak commercial period. It adds up to a whole lot of Fats, to be sure, but track after track, he doesn't disappoint.
