Madacy's Healing Garden Music series is in conjunction with a line of aromatherapy products. Each volume is based around a white robes-and-sunlight buzzword; in this case, that word is Energy. What ensues, according to the album's liners, is a "rejuvenating soundscape to awaken mind + body + spirit," but what it actually sounds like is background music for an upscale tapas restaurant. Paco Nula and Tierra Negra's flamenco-inspired textures are airy and relentlessly upbeat, making the album a fine, if a little Latin-heavy pick-me-up. It's bland and tasty all at once, just like tapas.
