AllMusic Review by Scott Yanow

After having made a bit of an impression in Europe during the late 1930s, the Django Reinhardt-influenced guitarist Oscar Aleman returned home to Argentina, where he played in obscurity for the last four decades of his life. Aleman's Buenos Aires recordings are quite rare, so swing collectors will want to search for this LP, which has a dozen little-known titles (none of which duplicate the music on an Aleman Rambler LP). The talented guitarist is heard in small groups which sometimes include violins, clarinet and a full rhythm section.
