AllMusic Review by

The Greatest Songs of Christmas: O Holy Night is a Reader's Digest-branded compilation that features nicely appointed vocal versions of holiday chestnuts. All the old standbys are here: Andy Williams ("O Holy Night"), Brenda Lee ("Jingle Bell Rock"), Kenny Rogers ("O Come, All Ye Faithful"). The set's filled out with the Stylistics doing "Sweet Little Jesus Boy," Glen Campbell with "I Saw Three Ships," and even Merle Haggard, who turns in a country-flavored song called "If We Make It Through December."
