Each volume in the Platinum Disc label's extensive Greatest Hits of the '80s series features ten chart-toppers that span the decade, with a heavy emphasis on songs that continue to be played regularly on adult contemporary radio stations. The selections are a bit too broad and the amount of material on each disc falls toward the skimpy side, so none of the discs is all that remarkable. The seventh volume includes the Bangles' "Walk Like an Egyptian," the Romantics' "What I Like About You," Adam & the Ants' "Goody Two Shoes," Men at Work's "Who Can It Be Now?," and John Parr's "Naughty Naughty."
