The second installment of Intersound's Great Entertainers series features excerpts of various radio broadcasts from the '30s and '40s. This well-rounded set provides equal billing to both swing bands and pop vocals, including Frank Sinatra and the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, the Andrews Sisters, Fred Astaire, Cole Porter, the Nat King Cole Trio, Marlene Dietrich, Rudy Vallée, Django Reinhardt, the Mills Brothers, and Kate Smith with the Jack Miller Orchestra. The sound quality isn't great considering the source and era, but it's definitely listenable.
