Good Time Music... is pretty aptly named -- Edsel Auctioneer's sound is a direct and sunny blend of major-chord guitar strumming and thoroughly inoffensive melodies that's pretty hard to be bothered by. Unfortunately, there's nothing particularly interesting about the band's songwriting -- and while innovation or brilliance might not be the band's goal at all, many listeners might find that Good Time Music... lacks enough solid content to be very interesting. In fact, the album's only true high point is the guest vocal appearance by Pale Saints' Meriel Barham.
