The Flamin' Groovies were off Sire Records, and without a major label contract, when this mysterious five-song EP turned up as an import in U.S. shops. The sound is ragged, as the material was taken from acetates rather than master tapes, and the work on this material was never really finished. But oh the covers of Byrds material like "She Don't Care About Time," and the Phil Spector '60s classic "River Deep, Mountain High," which makes every other rock band version of that song (even the one by The Easybeats) look anemic by comparison.
