AllMusic Review by

The Champs had a huge hit with "Tequila" in 1958 and its raw, loose barroom saxophone riff has kept it a radio, soundtrack, and drinking contest staple ever since. For all practical purposes, the Champs ended their run in the mid-'60s, but the fluid membership of this instrumental group has enabled many reunions (although the core has always been guitarist Dave Burgess and saxophonist Chuck Rio). Their various extended-play 45s are collected here, along with three rather insignificant previously unreleased tracks.
