This colorful and compact box set, produced in Europe and exported elsewhere, is titled The Complete Album Collection but contains only the Motown releases from the Jackson 5. The box houses all the studio albums, as well as the live set In Japan! (1973; 2004 in the U.S.) and the compilations Greatest Hits (1971), Joyful Jukebox Music (1976), and Boogie (1979). The discs are in LP replica sleeves which aren't 100-percent true to the design of the original releases. Some albums, for whatever reason, have blank gatefolds. Serious fans will miss the small details and perhaps the lack of a booklet. However, when this was released, it retailed for roughly the equivalent of four or five full-price compact discs.
