AllMusic Review by

No need to worry if you didn't buy any mainstream dance compilations for the whole of 2003; Club Box will catch you up. They weren't kidding when they subtitled it "45 Massive Club Hits," as almost every track here got more than its fair share of club spins. The tracks are unmixed, which is nice since you can pick and choose your favorites and make a collection that's either slick and stylish (Dirty Vegas, Par-T-One, Tim Deluxe) or cheesy and clever (ATC, Marc et Claude, Creamy). Pumping up pop tunes like Minnie Riperton's "Loving You" or Stealers Wheel's "Stuck in the Middle With You" makes for guilty pleasures that will have you swaying with glee or shrieking with horror. The oddest update has to be the 10th Planet's take on "Ghosts," originally by the ever arty and austere Japan. Be aware, all of the cuts here appear in their shorter single versions, not necessarily the best way to feature expansive dance music.
