This fearsome quartet from Albacete has quickly become one of the leading forces in Spanish thrash metal, and now appears ready to muscle its way to a place among the big boys of European metal. The Call, their fourth studio album, aims to capitalize on the success of 2010's Clockwork, the band's first release for major European metal label Century Media, as well as on their recent touring supporting heavyweights Megadeth and Slayer. The Call repeats Clockwork's producer and engineer (Portugal's Daniel Cardoso and Pete Mendes) and contains the group's most assured batch of songs, delivered at the obligatory blistering, take-no-prisoners pace, as for instance the first single, "You Are Next." This all-English album became Angelus Apatrida's highest charting in Spain. The limited edition adds a cover of Judas Priest's "Hell Patrol" and a new version of "Free Your Soul," originally included in their second album.
