An explosive collection of upbeat O'Jays songs, with a sprinkling of midtempo selections, and one theatrical ballad "Let Me Make Love to You." "I Love Music" and "For the Love of Money" are complete and unedited. "Back Stabbers," and "Love Train" have the same thrilling magic they did more than 25 years ago. Has it really been that long? Two tough album cuts "People Keep Tellin' Me," and "Now That We Found Love," a hit for Third World, illustrate the depth of their material. The inclusion of "One Night Affair," recorded on Gamble & Huff's short-lived Neptune label (pre Philadelphia International) is like topping premium ice cream with a cherry.
